Relocating to Australia?
Hi, my partner and I and seriously considering a migration from the UK to Sydney, Aus. My partner is at Nottingham University and can exchange to a Sydney based University quite easily. I however am a Recruitment Consultant, very experienced but with no academic background.
My question is, how hard will I find it to relocate? Typically how much is a house in Australia and what size can you get for your money?
Is there any advice on where to start this process?

I know home staging is a very common thing in the US, to sell your home faster basically but I was wondering whether people know of something like this in the Netherlands (especially Friesland) as well.

Confused don’t know what too do
well i’m 18 & i’m wierd I have low confidence but I have that fake kinda hardman confidence if you know what I mean. (if you say a joke about me I will thik you are being derogatory & insult you e.g if you slighty nudge me I will punch you in the face way (figure of speech not literally)
It started when I was in school & went through a bit when the class found out my mum went out with the local Idot (she had a breakdown when I was younger so alot of sh*t happened, like running away from home when I was 5 too move somewhere else etc) so that didn’t help. I got worse over the last two years of high school, too a point where I was just so withdraw that I didn’t speak too many other of my class mates, so some obviously thought I was a tadd odd.
I left high school (UK) in 2006 all of what I went through meant I did pants at school (shouldn’t be an excuse but..) had a gr8 time in college for a few months then I fell out with this girl (which looking back was all my fault & I was real nasty too her & do regret what I did) so I ended up having a break down as I came back into college & ended up crying in the loo (not badly) then just left.
I had a fews months break (spending most inside my house not going out only till weekend, I live in rural wales soo there aint much to do at all as we don’t have a car. I started going too the Gym around August & kept on going till January of this year, had a real good time (acted like a nob showing off my muscles & making a fool outa myself by saying I was the Alpha male of the class O.O lol then I just left after 1 set & never went back, then my mood changed went kinda depressed & paranoid, like I thought people were talking about me the usual (nothing Psycho) other people in my college (I went back last sept) noticed a change in me as I was really bubbly before. I finished coll this July & had loads of time in the house so much tht I would kinda go wierd when I was out & about like going really sweaty, yawning & coughing or looking at the floor if people or cars went by. I was fine when I went too Nottingham managed too get out the house for four full days & get some fresh air (living in a wierd situation where I live crappy village in mid wales where there is nought too do)
Well this is the question, I have finished my course & thinking of going too study somewhere else like Nottingham or Hereford too sudy BTEC national diploma in Public service, I don’t have many friends round here, I don’t go out much people do invite me, bt i just aint gt the confidence too do it & my best m8 left me after he had a GF so there aint much left for me here. but if you were in my shoes what would you do would you try somewhere else or stay in wales & try & change peopes opinions of you???

I’m supposed to be buying an ex council house in Nottingham Daybrook (anybody know what its like) well basically my Q’s are I will need to take the bathroom upstairs and knock a wall down to extend the kitchen into the old bathroom where i would need to put in a new kithen flooring tiles etc then to keep it a 3 bed would need to do a loft conversion plus add a stair case put in 2 new double glazed windows of average size and 2 new gates plus i would need to secure the garden more to make sure my dogs are safe put in a security light a new fire place and i would like to move the electric meter from out of the living room and eventually would like to add a conservatory about the size where you don’t have to have planing permission so basically on average how much would all this cost plus the fitting of everything. Plus with nearly every house you buy would need new florring and painting.

What color should I paint my kitchen to sell the home?
I want to fix my house up and I know I need to paint the kitch its a very nice size long and open kitch. Right now its a yellow and I know I need to chnage that. It has white tile and what cabnets with a grey countertop. I want to sell my home so what color should I paint it? It also connects to the living room thats green and has hardwood flooring in it however it will not be staying green for long. Any tips or help please I need and want to sell my home fast and I heard paint is the trick so what color for the kitchen?
Its a bright yellow but my kitchen is huge so I just delt with it. I know the yellow will be way to brite, I was thinking the color of coffie after you put cream in it, its a kitchen and most people love coffie LOL

Help me! Dance/ musical theatre colleges?
In September I’ll be starting to apply for musical theatre colleges. There are a few places I would like to go. They are Midlands Academy of Dance and Drama, Laines theatre arts, Performers Arts, London Studio Centre, Stella Mann and London Theatre school. I’m going to write quite a lot, but it is all relevant.
The Course co-ordinator at Midlands knows me, as he teaches me on sundays, and thinks I would do well there, and now I look at it, it looks really good. But the thing is, if I do study there, I would have to leave home, and live in Nottingham, which is where the college is. I would be happy to do that, but my mum wouldn’t.
I did a free Stella Mann open day in Jan/ Feb and really enjoyed it, and when I went to a dance exhibition called Move it on Friday and Saturday I went to their stall and the people there remembered me.
I went to Laines summer school last year, and the jazz teacher there put me as the lead part in my group, and when i was going to school one day, i saw the ballet teacher and he remembered me.
I like the others because whilst at Move It, I saw performances from most of them and thought they were fantastic. I also saw one from Midlands and it was brilliant, one of the strongest. Performers were the best out of all of them though.
I currently go to the Brit School on Dance Strand, but it is not working out the way I thought it would. I’m not enjoying it like I thought I would, and there is hardly anyone in my dance group who want to stay on or sixth form.
Also my mum is worrying about me not having any A levels if I train at 16, but to be honest, the career i want to have won’t require me to have any A levels.
Please help!
I’ve done summer schools at Urdang Academy, and found it was a little stuck up, and they weren’t all that nice to me.
Also I went to Italia Conti Summer School before, and I was in two numbers, and stuck at the back for both of them. Also the let students who were already at the school be in the show, and they had all the solo’s and they were always at the front. They didn’t give anyone else a chance, so I don’t want to be going to a school like that. My friend who goes there said that once they had this audition and they handed the person who was auditioning everybody (from outside the school) a register with a few names highlighted, and it was al the favourites.
