Spending a day in Nottingham. What should I visit/do?
I’m having to spend a day in Nottingham before travelling back home.
I’ve only heard bad things about Nottingham but there must be some interesting/nice things I can do in the city and nearby. I have a car.
What do you recommend?

Help me! Dance/ musical theatre colleges?
In September I’ll be starting to apply for musical theatre colleges. There are a few places I would like to go. They are Midlands Academy of Dance and Drama, Laines theatre arts, Performers Arts, London Studio Centre, Stella Mann and London Theatre school. I’m going to write quite a lot, but it is all relevant.
The Course co-ordinator at Midlands knows me, as he teaches me on sundays, and thinks I would do well there, and now I look at it, it looks really good. But the thing is, if I do study there, I would have to leave home, and live in Nottingham, which is where the college is. I would be happy to do that, but my mum wouldn’t.
I did a free Stella Mann open day in Jan/ Feb and really enjoyed it, and when I went to a dance exhibition called Move it on Friday and Saturday I went to their stall and the people there remembered me.
I went to Laines summer school last year, and the jazz teacher there put me as the lead part in my group, and when i was going to school one day, i saw the ballet teacher and he remembered me.
I like the others because whilst at Move It, I saw performances from most of them and thought they were fantastic. I also saw one from Midlands and it was brilliant, one of the strongest. Performers were the best out of all of them though.
I currently go to the Brit School on Dance Strand, but it is not working out the way I thought it would. I’m not enjoying it like I thought I would, and there is hardly anyone in my dance group who want to stay on or sixth form.
Also my mum is worrying about me not having any A levels if I train at 16, but to be honest, the career i want to have won’t require me to have any A levels.
Please help!
I’ve done summer schools at Urdang Academy, and found it was a little stuck up, and they weren’t all that nice to me.
Also I went to Italia Conti Summer School before, and I was in two numbers, and stuck at the back for both of them. Also the let students who were already at the school be in the show, and they had all the solo’s and they were always at the front. They didn’t give anyone else a chance, so I don’t want to be going to a school like that. My friend who goes there said that once they had this audition and they handed the person who was auditioning everybody (from outside the school) a register with a few names highlighted, and it was al the favourites.

Where can i take my girlfriend?
Okay, i have been searching the internet for a while now looking for places to take my girlfriend and things to do with her. But most places really only give ideas for somewhat older people, i am 14. And they often assume that you have lots of money, and that your girlfriend is allowed to your house, however this is far from true for me
. So i live in Nottingham, and sure i have been to the cinema with her; but i was wondering what else i could do with her and stuff. Any IdeasI live in Nottingham UK not US.

im helping a friend look for a kitten for his girlfriend for christmas. she has wanted one for a while and now they have their own house its the right time to get one. does anyone know of anyone whos cat is going to be having kittens and will be getting rid of them before christmas in the nottingham area??

Hello, I am currently studying at nottingham university sutton bonington campus. I would like to go home to Saltash for the weekend sometime this month. As i have left it too late i cant book advance tickets so the cheapest i have found is £70 train. Obviously as a student i cant afford this. Does any1 know how i can get home cheap this month?
Nottingham and the need to live somewhere for free?

Can i get a flat at the age of 16?
Hiya, im 16 years old and im not really getting on with my parents, tomorrow morning im going to put my name down on the housing list. Metropolitan and Council house. I need to get to nottingham from peterborough tomorrow morning. Should I drive or take the train?
Need to be there at 9.30. Would leave if driving at 7.30, train goes at 7.25. I don’t know which park & ride to park in if I drive, but if I take the train, I get there early and have to wait around for an hour before coming home. I like driving but what if the traffic’s bad and I’m late?
